The Day To Night Dress

The LBD to see you through from office to partywear this season

Party season is upon us, and with it comes the age-old style dilemma of finding something to wear that will take you from office to party. It’s a tall order, but can one dress do it all?

It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of layering to maximise the wear you get out of your clothes, but layering is also a good way to dress for a multitude of occasions in one go. A collared shirt or turtleneck under a sleeveless dress is one of my go-to work outfits, which is how I’d originally intended to wear this dress. But when it arrived, I couldn’t help but notice how sleek and sophisticated it looked on its own too; very Cher from Clueless.

For the ‘night’ look, I simply removed the shirt, added some party-ready accessories (hello disco earrings and gold heels) and a red lip et voila, one party look good to go!

What’s your day-to-night outfit?
